Registration and Call for Abstracts | 13th Oppenheimer Research Conference

BACKGROUND

The ORC is a space for showcasing and discussing the natural and environmental sciences, and conservation and sustainable development in Africa.

It is a meeting place for change-makers to shift the dial on biodiversity research and conversation. While the focus is impact in Africa, the conference welcomes global perspectives.

Conference goals include:

• Profiling African research excellence

• Empowering young researchers and environmental stewards

• Building a network of biodiversity professionals

• Hosting impactful conversations

The ORC takes active steps to reduce its environmental impact.

DEADLINES

• Registration and first call for abstracts: 27 February 2024

• Second call for abstracts: 8 April 2024

• Abstracts submission deadline: 3 June 2024

• Communication – acceptance of abstracts: 2 July 2024

• Deadline for acceptance of abstracts: 26 July 2024

• Distribution of conference programme: 16 September 2024
